The toilet facilities are open from mid-May to mid-September. Emptying toilets from motorhomes and caravans is not permitted.
Sognefjellshytta lodge lies where the scenic route reaches its highest point at 1,400 metres above sea level.
The lodge has been provided with a new common room that links the two traditional buildings. The combination of wood and glass disperses the light through the room and imparts the changing moods of weather and light at this high altitude.
