The toilet facilities are open all year round. Emptying toilets from motorhomes and caravans is not permitted.
There is a lot of traffic at Moskenes ferry landing, and at times there is a long wait between departures.
To enhance the place and make the wait more comfortable, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration has put up this building with a waiting room and toilet facilities.
With its different shades of a greyish-blue colour, the building at Moskenes ferry quay has become an attraction in itself. From the service building there is a spectacular view of the seaward approach which is the main route of access to western Lofoten.
