Grønsvik Coastal Fort was established by the German occupying power in 1942.
Grønsvik Coastal Fort was established by the German occupying power in 1942. The coastal fort was a part of the Atlantic Wall, a continuous chain of fortifications along the coast, from the border between Spain and France in the south and all the way north along the entire coast of Norway. The coastal fort has been strategically placed in the landscape, with a magnificent view of the archipelago. The coastal fort is now a museum and open to free passage.
